Make your miles count. Join the team, join our community, and make a difference!

SIGNATURE RACE LOCATIONS
BE PART OF SOMETHING BIG
Each year Riding On Insulin chooses Race Events to call our own. While we aren't an official charity, we get special perks, and try to be the largest team there! Tons of athletes, tons of spectators, and ROI events throughout the weekend.
What makes a Signature Race special? Along with events held throughout the weekend by the official race organization, ROI will be hosting a variety of events to keep you and your family engaged and connected to the team. Join us for a Welcome Party, organized spectating, and a team of 20+ athletes.
What's my fundraising/registration commitment for a Signature Race? We ask for a $25 registration fee and then a minimum fundraising of $300 throughout the season. While some meet the $300 minimum, many reach as high as $10K! (And of course if you join, you are aiming for high goals, so go for it and try to beat it!) If you've already registered for the Team, you'll just need to purchase your bib through the official venue's website.
Is my fundraising/registration commitment as a Race Team Member counted towards a Signature Race? Yes, of course! The goal of our Signature Race series is to host race events where there is a large ROI presence. The more the merrier, blisters and all! Does my registration with the team include a race entry? No. First, register for the Riding On Insulin Team through our website. Second, purchase your bib through the official race site. The same thing goes for any race that you enter. You must buy your bib through the official race website.
Will there be teammates to train alongside? ROI teammates exist all over the US, Canada and New Zealand and is growing to well over 100 strong at over 100 races. While we cannot guarantee there will be teammates in your area training with you, we invite you to bring along your friends and family (No T1D required) to race with you and train. There are areas of the country that have a high concentration of teammates. We'll let you know!
I have another question, who should I contact? Michelle Page-Alswager is your gal. Email her at firstname.lastname@example.org - she's happy to answer all of your questions!
